Now that there is a new employee in my office, the room smells like sunscreen all the time. It makes me sneeze a little. I don't mind, though; sneezes are kind of refreshing. I don't really mind the feathered hair anymore, either. She asks a lot of questions, but it rarely gets bothersome. Survey says: "The intern is pretty okay."

Game night was only so-so. On one hand, there was buffalo chicken cheese dip and flaxseed chips. But only two people came who were not the hostess, my mom, or me. I was already in a little bit of a cranky mood, I guess, but it felt as though something was definitely missing. Perhaps hunger was making me surly; I ate light during the day so I could splurge on delectables. I did learn a new card game, however! Next month we'll make sure the hostess is someone who invites early and reminds frequently.

It seems like a bad mood can sometimes develop before there's anything to be uspet about, and then everything that might not be great becomes ultra-noticable. Probably the case last night. Little dormant woes were suddenly back on the front burner. It derailed my happiness and I hate feeling like I'm not the boss of my mood.

Tonight is cooking and valentining, so I expect to be pretty damn cheerful by this evening.

I totally feel this way sometimes. but what's even worse is that I will KNOW that I'm being unreasonable and getting crabby for no reason and I'm just too stubborn to stop myself.

Yes! When you're watching yourself be a brat but can't seem to put on the brakes... it is so NOT fun.

I'm feeling a lot better now!
