Well, this sucks. I sent my iPod to Apple to be fixed and they sent me a replacement, but DHL was terrible at getting it to me on time. It finally arrived today, six days late and only after I called several times, but the packaging it came in looked as if it had been run over with a dirty steamroller. Sure enough, the little box inside the vacuum-sealed bubble wrap thing was thoroughly smashed and the iPod within was at least three kinds of busted. I called Apple and before they can send me anything else, they have to do some kind of inquiry/investigation with DHL to see why and how the thing got damaged. I was told that it will be at least 10 days before I get a working replacement. Suck.
But no matter! There are plenty of other things to be oh-so-happy about!
Like: I'm sending presents to my best friend, who is AWESOME, when I leave work today. Coupons to Kohl's were handed out to educational employees this morning. I've started showering at night instead of in the morning, and the transition wasn't as hard as I thought. I'm going to the Punk Rock Flea Market on Saturday with an old (and brief) flame, and later I'll be decorating a tree with my roommate. People at work will probably buy jewelry from me when I bring it in next week, and then I will be able to get myself a haircut and a pair of work shoes that fit. My mom and I are baking biscotti on Sunday, and on Monday I'm sitting in for her during a cookie exchange at Colonial's district office. I've got more presents to wrap now, and a few final ones are on their way. I have a handful of plans for holiday get-togethers and get to see people I haven't seen in a while.
There are so many things to celebrate!

Scroll down a little. I have been the past 3 or 4 times, and it is always crazy/great. Art, baked goods, crafty items, books and music, people's old things, jewelry, etc.
