Holy Crap! I could totally be related to Jack Kerouac!

His mom's maiden name was Gabrielle-Ange Lévesque and my grandmother's maiden name was Muriel Lévesque and both were from Quebec! And while I realize that there are lots of Lévesques in Quebec, it is still completely possible that Jack Kerouac is distantly related to me.

I have never been interested in genealogy before now.

My family pronounces it "luh-VAKE," though I've meet one other person with that last name who pronounced it more like "leh-VEK".
