I've got two big bags of clothes that I'm hauling off to a thrift store sometime this week. However, I pulled a few things that are extra nice and/or rarely used and/or fairly new. I thought I'd put them up on here to see if anyone would like them for a few bucks or even a barter.

Two dresses, a jacket and skirt suit, and a coat. Sizes 22 and 24. )

This dress now belongs to me:

The coolest part about it is that the design is repeated down the back of the dress. Sweet sweetness. I think I may wear it to work tomorrow. It's a little eccentric for the office, but it's a middle school and maybe I will get some kudos* from the 8th grade girls the way I never did when I was one. HAHA. Plus, I'm in the main office, and therefore visible to more than 5 people, for less than an hour a day. So who cares?

Also, I have new bras, YAY! Early Xmas present from Mama. THANK GOODNESS. My old ones were actually VERY old. And the underwire was doing unpleasant things to tender parts of me. And coupled with my shrinking boobage (:sheds a tear:), that whole area was in sorry shape.

What else? Oh, applesauce! I am in love with applesauce. My mom showed me this apple peeler/slicer/core-er that she bought at a yard sale. Incredible. Basically, she can peel, core, and spiral-slice ten apples in five minutes. Then she cuts the spirals in half and throws all the little apple moons into a big pot with a cup or so of water. It boils down for 30 minutes and you squish everything with a potato masher. Spices next, then whatever sweetener you want to use. Brown sugar, white sugar, artifical sweetener, etc. And ours is organic, at least before we add the stuff at the end. We're using apples from her backyard, which we had always considered too ugly (skin the color of diseased lungs) and tart (in September, but they're perfect now) to ever eat.

I have some now that is heavy on the spices and light on the sweetener, and it is GREAT heated up. Like apple pie. I could eat it all day.

*Mmmm, kudos. Wasn't that a granola bar back in the day?

Also, I just realized that there's something vaguely vaginal (in a floral, O'Keefe-ish way) about the design on the dress in my last post. RAD!!
