(no subject)
Jan. 19th, 2005 09:26 amA lovely girl made baklava and gave me two triangles of it. There was much squealing in delight and sticky-fingered savoring.
I haven't a class until 7pm, so my day holds the following:
- grooming
- taking broken room phone that rings but won't let us pick up to be fixed or exchanged
- getting to the bottom of why I haven't been able to check my campus email in ages
- purchasing some textbooks on half.com
- unpacking my clothes finally
- marking all due dates for classes I have had thus far this semester in my planner
- Valentine making
- a walk outside if it is not bone-shatteringly cold
Spammy e-mails are so ridiculous these days. You can barely read the subject with all the lengths they go to in order to keep spam-blockers from recognizings them. The one I just recieved had a subject that read thusly: "P i a n meds you know you want them"
Who actually goes, "Huh, Pian.. oh, PAIN meds! Yes, yes! Where do I sign up? ::click:: "?
By the way, thank you to everyone who had suggestions on medicating my computer. I have Ad-Aware, but forgot, and I haven't run it in a while. So I did, and it found 400-ish things and deleted them. The internet is running much much better now.
I get more action in my dreams than I can ever hope to get in real life. ::sigh::
