Birthday magic.

besubversiveI am deciding what to do with the $100 I'm expecting to recieve ANY DAY NOW for unpurchased plane tickets/unpursued dental work. Get my femme star tattoo? Pay for the True Colors conference coming up? Or renew my lapsed livejournal paid account? Buy a hoodie from nofauxxx.com? Subscribe for two months? Do you have any suggestions?
The money I'm getting back from my taxes, I'm thinking about putting half toward a certain August event and the other half toward renting the Pondview cabin at Killen's Pond around my birthday.
Speaking of my birthday!
Okay, so I know it's not for another 5 months, but planning super far ahead never hurts, right? I'm thinking, as I said, of renting the gorgeous Pondview cabin at Killen's Pond, which is a state park somewhere between Dover and Rehoboth Beach. I don't know if anyone would truck out that far to come see me, but I'm going to try and rent the place for around 5 nights... and... okay, nevermind. After about 20 minutes of looking, it seems there are NO open dates for that cabin any time between now and ever. I mean, the smaller cabins are really wonderful, too. They just don't have decks that sit halfway over the pond, y'know? Okay, well, maybe I'll rent one of the smaller cabins, which still have bunk beds plus a big ol' king or queen sized bed. And amazing showers that, like, 2 or 3 people could fit into. I'm just sayin'.
If I did that, I could spend a couple of days being all alone and transcendentalist, walkin' around in the woods and spending all night writing on my laptop. And I can sip wine on the screened-in porch. And then if anyone wants to come spend time with me at any point, they'd be way more than welcome. I already know I should be having a certain boy from Florida up to visit.
