May. 26th, 2008 11:00 amLivejournal... the love affair is over? I enjoy journaling, but everything else about LJ has lost its shine in a real big way.
May has been good for me. By minimizing my internet presence, I've been almost forced to be more present in real life, my life. Lots of people can balance both, but I've been substituting one for the other for a while.
Anyway, I'm excited about this week. Elliott gets here on Wednesday and we're getting matching Vonnegut tattoos on Thursday. And we're going to the THC, though I think it's going to be my last one until I've got something to contribute. It's a great resource, but I've probably absorbed all I can as an ally in the audience. You can only learn so much by listening. I suspect you learn more by doing and making.
