Jan. 20th, 2008 08:20 amYesterday in Philly was crazy awesome:
+ It was sunny.
+ My dad got tired of me looking for parking and said he'd pay to park in a lot. It was $20, but my dad also found a $20 bill skittering along the blacktop after we paid. So, free parking.
+ We were eating at Marathon Grill and I saw Kimya and her little one, Panda, and probably Karl Blau and Angelo Spencer walk by. They went into the little bakery across the street and had breakfast. I was excited.
+ The person who rung us up at Marathon accidentally charged us on the wrong bill, which was $23 less than our bill was supposed to be. We didn't realized until later, because we forgot about the three mimosas I had ordered. Philadelphia was throwing money at us.
+ The show was at the Philadelphia Ethical Society. Ethical! SO GREAT.
+ I took a bunch of video of the show (although it took me a little while to figure out that I can't take video sideways; there's just no way to flip it around later). I'm putting them up on youtube and posting some here later.
+ Everyone was super good. And my dad totally enjoyed it.
