Oct. 6th, 2006 05:38 pmAnother week down at Colwyck Elementary! Just about time to start applying for jobs again so I'll have one when I'm done here.
Today:
Another reading teacher was asking me what were probably friendly questions about my prior experience in education, but it felt like she was grilling me. I was a little evasive, because I don't want anyone telling me I'm not qualified to do my job. The principal knows I'm inexperienced, yet he's been my biggest cheerleader. And things have been going well, so I'd rather not have any inquisitions, friendly or not.
Tuesday, I'm seeing Jenny Lewis and the Watson Twins. I might be seeing Viva Voce next weekend, plus I'll be seeing Mount Eerie (The Microphones), Calvin Johnson, and D+ on the 18th. It took me until now to finally be someone who "goes to shows". Concerts, what? Not these days.
Time to do some laundry.
