Saturday Night Fever...
Sep. 24th, 2006 02:04 am...as in, it's Saturday night and I have one, kind of.
(Okay, it's Sunday morning, but whatevs.)
Around 9pm, I was feeling clammy with a temperature one point higher than normal. Now I'm feeling flushed, but the thermometer swears my temperature is a point lower than normal. Weird body!
I was sleeping, and I'd like to be sleeping again, but I am just about able to breathe through both nostrils at the moment and I know that's all ruined if I get back in bed.
It would be so nice if I could get someone to feed me soups and discourage me from drinking milk (it's a mucus maker!) and kiss me on the part of my hair and keep track of how often I've taken decongestant (so I know when to take the next dose) and rub my back.
Or, y'know, treat me to a long, hard screw... because sometimes sweating it out is the best remedy for a fever, or whatever else ails you.
