Aug. 6th, 2005 10:03 amI'm leaving in 3 hours for Michigan.
Well, more accurately, I'm leaving in 3 hours for Michigan, by way of Kmart, the library, Total Wine and More, Philly, Jersey City, and some stop to pick up a passenger on the way to Route 80.
I'm totally handy at being a Utilitarian Worker Femme when the occasion calls for such. Plus, I inherited the Good At Packing gene (not that kind of packing) from my father. I'm using a tarp and several adjustable bungee cords to strap all the tents and chairs to my luggage rack. In fact, my mother and I did a test pack up there this morning. Also, I RainX-ed my windshield a few hours ago and topped off my power steering fluid.
Sexy, no?
I am all over camping and the like... I've been my dad's camping and fishing buddy from age 4. As long as I have a few things, I am as low maintenance as it gets. For instance, I will not need or wish for any electrical outlets this week. I do however, require quality shampoo and conditioner. Dr. Bronners may smell lovely and do the job fine, but dry and damaged hair that smells good does not a happy camper make. I will be taking my Fructis, thank you.
Oh, and I'm taking a pink flamingo if I can fit it in the car. Just the necessary items, you know.
