Aug. 1st, 2005 08:56 pmMy mom made me a nummy sandwich today: oat bread, apple butter, apple slices, shredded cabbage, turkey, and a little horseradish. So good.
Both my brother and I stayed home sick from work; we're afflicted with coughing, sore throats, and serious congestion along with a myriad of other icky symptoms. Between that and the tearjerker movie my mom made us watch tonight, I think we went through a whole box of tissues. JD's a sucker for a tearjerker (OMG, first I typed TEATjerker! Ha!) and so am I.
I am super good at pampering people when they feel poorly, and I'm just as super good at being abnoxiously needy when I'm not so well. What I could use right now: a cuddle, a hot bath, enough pillows to allow me to sleep at a 45 degree angle to the bed, and some hot & sour soup. Mmm, soup.
Has anyone ever seen the HBO series Cathouse? I love it. I love it like muppets love fisting.
Who doesn't want to go to work tomorrow? Me. Who is going to go anyway? Also me.
And finally, a non-rhetorical question for the readership: What's a good digital camera to buy for around $175?
