May. 6th, 2005 05:53 pmGood news:
My mom called because there was an envelope for me at her hosue from the Colonial School District. She opened it over the phone and it turns out that I got a position with the Extra Time Summer School Program. Some of you who have known me for a while may remember me doing it three years ago, when I taught 6th and 7th grade English. Those kids were hellacious, so I asked for a younger grade this year. Well, they musta been listening, because I was offered a position teaching (I think) kindergarten. The only thing is, the letter said "kindergarten/special ed/paraprofessional." I'm not sure if that means I'm going to be doing all of those things or just one in that rather large category. I don't really care one way or the other, because for 5 weeks, I will be making big money while still working hard at Wallace Wallin. Rejoice!
Tonight:
Finishing some work, laundry, packing for a weekend o' practicing in Philly. A fantastic evening of sleeeeep.
Tomorrow morning, 10 a.m.:
