Shoppppping.

My very favorite uncle is getting remarried this weekend, and I've been invited to go. I told my dad that all my dresses formal enough for the occasion also happen to be black and it would never do to show up at an April wedding in a black dress. This means, of course, shopping! I found that the closest Torrid to me is in North Wales, PA, about 30 miles away, so after a shower and lunch, I'm going on a dress crusade.

Also, I discovered an AMAZING website on the Fat Femmes community last night... http://www.bandlu.com . They carry BEAUTIFUL clothes for sizes 14 through 30, and the prices are on par with (and sometimes better than) what you would pay at Torrid or Lane Bryant. I am smitten and there are SO many gorgeous tops and skirts I'm lusting after.

Oh, Spring (Retail) Fever.

That's the dress I got! Weeeee. There was one I liked better, but I needed it in a size smaller and they didn't have any in that size. BOO. But this is pretty, too. Mmmmm, dresses!

OMG, does everyone see a weird man icon on this post? This icon used to be a cartoon of a woman talking on the phone, and suddenly ... this! How did that happen???
