I trimmed my bangs today! This is good because there is less hair in my eyes and more eyebrow visibility. I like when people can see my eyebrows... good bangs are to eyebrows as demi-cup shelf bras are to cleavage. It's all about presentation, eh? The only thing I regret is that I can no longer style my hair like this:
How I wore my hair to Rocky Horror

I feel so capable when I cut my own hair.
Last night I drank a bottle of wine that I had picked based on the coolness of the label. I should have picked out wine based on the sweetness of it, but being all "Ooh! Pretty!", I ended up with a bottle of pretty dry stuff. Not that it really matters after the second glass. Unless you're like me, and insist on eating chocolate while you drink your wine, causing you after every swallow to go, "Kaak! Glaaaak! Bleeegh!" I was very silly and uncomfortably warm for the next few hours. Nevertheless, drinking a bottle of wine is always a good time. Bully Hill has become my new favorite winery. Especially at $8.99 a bottle.
By the way, Trenton's visit was the best thing ever. He met my mom and that went... okay. He met my dad and that went super great. My dad totally greeted Trenton with, "Hey! Wanna beer? We're havin' pork tenderloin. I like to get set up with a beer and cigar before I start the coals in the Weber." I put on some Buckwheat Zydeco and helped make the broccoli salad. Tiger actually looked relaxed. I thanked my dad a million times for being cool.
I am a huge junkie for scary halloween sound CDs. I bought two at the dollar store yesterday. I listened to one today and was kind of disappointed... no continuity. One track is bone crunching noises... then after 10 seconds of silence, the next track is chains rattling. I like when there is the background sound of wind blowing or creepy music and bouts of cackling and flesh ripping over that. Maybe the other CD will be better.
