Ageplay is a safe, sane, and consensual act of role-playing in which one or more participants assume the roles of infants, children, or adolescents. I do and have played with the roles of the latter two. In this filter I may primarily be writing about the encounters between my 6yr old little and her Daddy. Some of what I write about will be about phone conversations, or just little girl musings, or actual in-person goings-on.

long post about the queer bodies weekend
May. 25th, 2004 12:21 pmI'm still in a rather talky mood, so I'll go ahead and recap my weekend.
Friday:
I took a train from Wilmington to Philly and walked to The Westbury, the bar and restaurant at which Drew is working. ( Read more... )
Saturday:
Drew and I got up and I threatened to endanger his life if he didn't make me breakfast. ( Read more... )
The Makeout Party (Saturday Night):
Art Nerd Porn was putting on the party, which was being held in this absolutely stunning apartment(/house?) that was decorated as if it were straight out of an IKEA catalogue. It was set up like this: ( Read more... )
Sunday:
Drew had to work again, and I wasn't really in the mood for The Westbury, so I stayed home and plotted to fix up Drew's apartment. ( Read more... )
Whew.

bikes n dykes
May. 25th, 2004 04:02 pmI took a bike ride this afternoon. Bicycles appear to be a cyclical (hahahaha) theme in my life... reoccuring, anyway. My little sis recently gave me credit for inspiring her bike-themed audition tape for a show on Muhlenburg's radio station; I made her a mix a few months back that accidentally featured several songs in which bicycles are mentioned. Also, Drew's bike recently got stolen. At The Westbury, I got a kick out of watching all the people zip by on their own two-wheeled person-powered vehicles. And after all that, I got to hankering a ride of my own.
So, I didn't learn to ride a bike until I was 10. And I don't do it that often, but I love it. This afternoon, though, I had to pedal through mild aching after 10 minutes or so, because it's been so long since I've worked those muscles that way. It also could have been the fact that the seat was too low, and it exaggerated the arc of my pedaling.
So, I rode for about 20 minutes today, and I'm hoping to go once or twice a day and work up to the point where I can take hour long or two hour trips... or make longer trips faster.
Also, I read all of Stone Butch Blues yesterday. ::sigh:: How perfect and beautiful that novel is. I identified with so many of the femmes and saw so many people in the butches, especially in the main character, Jess. I <3 that novel. Funny that I just got around to reading it now, when 6 years ago, my 2nd girlfriend EVER was trying to get me to go out and find it. I remember her telling me it was about a butch trying to carve out her slice of the American dream in hard times. Close enough.
