crocheting! mail! glitter!
I finished my first crocheted cotton mesh tote bag, which I'll take with me when I go to the grocery store so I don't have to use plastic bags. I'll share a picture of it tomorrow morning. It only takes three balls of cotton yarn, and took me a total of 5ish hours to make. I think I'm going to start making them for everyone, until I get bored with that pattern. Would any of you use one of these bags at the grocery store (or anywhere) as a smart alternative to plastic?
Today was mostly a bore. I'm looking forward to classes. For now. By the way, here's the classes this semester:
Women Artists
World Music
Principles of Management
Love in Western Literature
English Senior Seminar
After I get all my clothes and the last of my crap put away tomorrow, I'm going to get down my craft supplies and start working on valentines for those of you who responded to my valentine entry. Yay! And some of you will be getting yours with scarves! Or mix CDs! Or glitter! (Speaking of glitter, you might want to open your envelopes while holding them away from your clothing. Just a precaution.)
